...One of the founding memebers of the Double Edged, who specializes in hardcore drum & bass.....G1antKillah has been a musician for over 10 years, with an emphasis on the drums and guitar....G1antKillah has always had a fascination with the more extreme musical forms, and still incorporates this love for extremity in his material...This is not something for the weak at heart....

...are 2 traits that can be found not only in G1antKillah, but in each member of the Double Edged....The main emphasis of the crew is to push the limits of electronic music, relying on a vast number of influences and musical backgrounds to create music that isn't run-of-the-mill....G1antKillah's musical influences include Death Metal, Grindcore, Japanese Noise Music, Thrash & Heavy Metal, Classic Rock, to Hip-Hop and of course Drum & Bass/Jungle....He first discovered Drum & Bass in early 1997, and has since fallen in love with the genre...He has been producing his own material since February of 2000, and has no plans to stop any time soon...His main tools of the trade are ACID PRO 3.0, SoundForge 5.0, a Yamaha DJX keyboard, and an intense dedication...G1antKillah's main influence is the love of his life, Jocelyn Marie...Without her love and support, none of this would've been possible, without her he might not even be here in the first place...He relies on real-life emotions to fuel the desire to create and be the best he can possibly be, whether it be love, anger, joy, or sadness---this is music made from the heart - no commercial 'mass appeal' fodder to please the masses...The Double Edged are whole-heartedly against commercialized 'music'...This is strictly for the dedicated massive...In a day and age where so many artists, especially within the genre of 'drum & bass' all sound identical, G1antKillah strives to set himself apart from the rest and is committed to continuously develop and perfect his own signature style....Drum & Bass and Jungle were created by artists who borrowed from many different genres of music and blended them together to create something totally new and different...Fully understanding this,G1antKillah draws heavily from his earlier influences, combines them with raw emotion, and creates songs that aren't your typical Drum & Bass tunes...G1antKillah fully believes that when something is done from the heart, good things can only be in store for the future....This is the basic philosophy of the Double Edged Crew and G1antKillah holds true to this belief...Not worried about fame or riches, G1antKillah puts his heart and soul into each and every song he creates, and it shows...Raw, Harsh, Heavy, Intense- these words accurately desribe the works of the Mad-Scientist...Hardcore Drum & Bass for the Hardcore Massive....

In addition to being a producer, G1antKillah is also a visual artist, graduating from the Los Angeles High School for the Arts with a major in visual art...In the near future, some of his original works of art will be added to the site, so keep your eyes out for that.....
